Welcome to St Peter & St James Hospice Charity Shops...

Our Hospice charity shops really are special and the retail team aims to stock each one with only the very best donated goods.

Whether you are searching for everyday ladies' or gentlemen's clothing, a dinner suit, ball gown or wedding dress, winter coat or accessories, there are always plenty available.

Customers will discover a fantastic selection of so many items in each shop including beautiful china, useful kitchen ware, pictures, retro goods, books, toys & games, CDs, DVDs, first rate furniture, jewellery and collectables. We even sell electrical goods such as lamps and small kitchen appliances.

Each shop carries a small range of new goods and greetings cards. There are brilliant, affordable, gift ideas for all occasions including Christmas and of course the full selection of Christmas cards are available from September to December each year.

Of course, most importantly, every penny of the profit made by the shops goes to support the valuable work of St Peter & St James Hospice.

Each shop is distinctive and whilst there are plenty of tremendous bargains to be found and a wide variety of goods on display, the shops are smart and clean and a far cry from the old fashioned 'rummage' shops of yesteryear.

We have a Van and a Man! - well three men actually, who share the work of collecting donated furniture and delivering it once sold and distributing stock to each shop

Recycling

Nothing is wasted! Every donated item is carefully inspected by our team of expert sorters and if anything is not quite up to the mark to sell in our shops, wherever possible, it is sold for recycling. This is an important income stream and also reduces the amount of waste going to landfill.

Clothing, books, metal, glass and china are all sold for recycling.

The shops are always in need of good quality donated goods which can be delivered to the shops during opening hours or to the Warehouse at the Hospice.

Whilst each shop has a Manager we rely heavily upon Volunteers to help run the shops and to sort donated goods in the Warehouse.
