The Sussex Hospices Trail covers 200 miles and is split into 26 sections ranging from 3 to 11 miles in length.
We’re asking our supporters to register a team of up to 8 people and take on one section of the trail to raise funds for St Peter & St James. All teams will set off at the same time so collectively will cover the whole 200-mile route in one day by each walking their sections!
A detailed guide and map for each walk can be found either as a free download on the iFootpath website or on the iFootpath app. These guides contain full-text directions with a map showing the route. Photographs, points of interest and background details of sites along the way are also given
There is a fee of £80 (for between 2-8 people) which will be in support of St Peter & St James. To register your team go to http://www.hopsicestrail.co.uk/register-your-team/
The route that we would like walked is Route 19 between North Chailey (Red House Common) and Haywards Heath a scenic 7 mile walk through Ashdown Forest.
We would also like to have a few marshals on the day as well to help. So if you are interested in walking or being a marshal on the day – please let Carol Hughes – Community Fundraiser know on 01444 470726 or email Carol.Hughes@stpeter-stjames.org.uk.
