Final Open Garden for 2014
Saturday 6th September (2 – 5pm)
8 acre garden created from agricultural land by the present owners. Formal planting around the house, pond surrounded by azaleas. Stream-fed bog garden bordered by rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias. Recently planted field of trees for autumn colour. 2 areas of woodland, one with a sandstone outcrop. Former NGS garden. Part wheelchair accessible. All proceeds to the Hospice.
Refreshments: Homemade teas available.
Admission: £3 per person. Children free.
Directions: 5m North of Haywards Heath, on B2028. 1m South of Ardingly turn into Burstow Hill. Signed to Highbrook then follow signs. Hammingden Lane, Highbrook, Ardingly RH17 6SR.
