What you need to know...

What is the Sleep Walk?

The Sleep Walk is a sponsored 10km walk starting and finishing at Olympos Haywards Heath. It is a female only event and we invite you to wear what you sleep in! Be as brave or as sensible as you like! Last year's event attracted 500 walkers and raised a staggering £50,000! Our challenge is to reach our full capacity of 850 walkers and raise even more money so please spread the word and encourage others to join, teams are very welcome!

When is the Sleep Walk?

The Sleep Walk will start at Midnight on Saturday 16th July 2011

How much does it cost to enter?

The Sleep Walk costs £10 to enter which includes a free baseball cap, finisher's memento and breakfast. It covers the costs of putting on the event so that all of the sponsorship you raise will go towards providing our services

How much sponsorship do I have to raise?

There is no minimum sponsorship amount but we ask that everybody taking part raises as much sponsorship as possible. We are hoping for 850 walkers this year and if every walker raises £100 that would be £85,000, enough to run our Hospice services for 17 days

When is the closing deadline?

All entry forms must be received at St Peter & St James by Friday 8th July, you cannot enter on the night

What about disabled entrants?

Disabled entrants are welcome to take part although we ask that you please contact us beforehand to discuss the route. If you require assistance on the night your assistant must also complete an entry form but they will not have to pay the entry fee

Can I run?

The Sleep Walk is not a race and entrants are not permitted to jog or run

How old do you have to be to take part?

The Sleep Walk is not suitable for children under the age of 10 and all 10 - 16 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the entire night.

Can I bring my dog?

No, we are sorry but no dogs are permitted to walk with you.
