STAFF NURSES - Days - up to full time minimum 3 shifts per week (including alternate weekends)
Nights - part time for 2 or 3 shifts per week
We have several vacancies for qualified staff nurses to work on the ward. Experience of pallative care is desirable.
You will support the sister in charge of nursing in the delivery of high quality patient care. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care to a named group of patients.

CONSULTANT IN PALLIATIVE MEDICINE - up to Full Time (8 PAs Hospice & Community, 2 PAs Hospital)
This new Consultant post has arisen as part of the ongoing development of the Hospice and provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to work across the Hospice, Community and Hospital Trust settings. The postholder will provide leadership in the provision of Specialist Palliative Care in Mid Sussex. With our current lead Consultant beginning to make plans for his retirement we are also recruiting with succession planning in mind.
The Hospice participates in Undergraduate teaching for Brighton and Sussex Medical School. There are exciting and challenging opportunities to practice and teach across all settings whilst performing a key role within the dedicated multidisciplinary teams. Applicants must be on the Specialist Register for Palliative Medicine or within three months of obtaining their Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training.
