St Peter & St James Hospice Charity Shops… not just any charity shops!
The Hospice currently has eight Charity Shops based in Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Lewes, Lindfield and Uckfield which are, in effect , its ‘window on the high street’ helping to promote the work of the Hospice and, most importantly, raising valuable funds to support its many patients in the community.
Each shop sells a rich, eclectic range of high-quality donated goods, but each one is completely different in size and layout. All the shops are successful and last year they contributed a profit of over £175,000 to support the work of the Hospice.
All donations are sorted and made ready for sale in the central warehouse, based in the grounds of the Hospice and the Retail Office is located nearby.
Working alongside the dedicated team of Retail staff are many volunteers, who help in the shops and in the warehouse.
