Obviously donating unwanted goods to the St Peter & St James Hospice Charity Shops to sell, not only helps to raise money for the Hospice, but is also a brilliant way of recycling items that are still in good condition but which are no longer of use.
Sadly, not everything that is donated is suitable for the Hospice shops to sell but, where possible, damaged or unsold goods such as clothing, glass, china and metals, are sold off for re-cycling thereby avoiding the necessity to take them to landfill and creating an important additional source of income.
