Sutton Hall Open Garden

New Garden 2014
Come and enjoy Father’s Day in this large garden, of some 20 acres, well stocked withtrees and shrubs and with a working walled garden for fruit and vegetables. Five ponds, wild grass and a flower garden. Views to the Downs in the south, to Ashdown Forest in the north, and across the Ouse Valley in the east. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome. All proceeds to the Hospice.

Admission: £3 adults. Children free.

Directions: Sutton Hall is at the heart of the Newick and Sutton Hall Estates and lies approximately half way between Newick village and Barcombe village. The house and gardens are on the east side of the Newick/Barcombe Road. There are two entrances, with Lodges with double iron gates carrying Sclater golden eagles. Parking will be in the Gipps Wood Yard which is on the west side of the Newick/Barcombe Road and opposite the Upper Lodge of Sutton Hall. Spithurst Road. BN8 5EB.
